We had our range inspection on November 22 and surprisingly we got the inspection report 3 weeks later. They identified side berm slumps on the action ranges as the crests were not 1.5m wide and on the 600, 2 side berms areas were not high enough. Don is disputing the 600 measurements and is going to talk to the inspector about his results. The 25m pistol range is OK.

If the bureaucrats work to their historical levels we might get opened in March but we have had some indication that it might be sooner.

We are re-building our ranges based on the designs laid out in the RCMP Range Construction Guidelines manual, as instructed by the CFO’s Range Coordinator. Under these designs, we will not need any “Safety Areas” around our ranges.
